Samsung answers Apple with Galaxy Tab redesign

After Apple’s complaint that the Samsung Galaxy Tab was a copy of the iPad, Samsung has issued a redesigned version.

The two companies are embroiled in a legal dispute over the design and one of Apple’s main objections was that the Samsung tablet looked far too similar to its own. But now Samsung has changed the frame design of its tablet and has moved its speakers, with the aim of bringing the device to market in Europe at the end of November 2011.

Apple and Samsung are also involved in a catalogue of legal disputes in a series of countries including the US, Australia and Japan.
