Google Drive aims to take customers places in the cloud

Google has released a cloud application called Google Drive; a direct competitor to similar, more established services.

Google Drive has Google Docs incorporated into it, thereby providing the functionality for customers to share, search and collaborate - as well as store files in the cloud.

Google makes it clear that Drive, with its integration to other aspects of its service, is another part of its overall "experience". To hook new users, its subscription price is way less than any of its competitors, which include Microsoft and Dropbox – both of whom announced improvements to their services ahead of the Google Drive announcement.
