Turkey’s edtech FATIH project is recognised

TurkeyThe Council of Europe has commended Turkey’s project to put technology in the hands of students.

The Movement to Enhance Opportunities and Improve Technology project (FATIH Project) aims to transforms Turkey’s classrooms with technology-led learning. It is currently one of the biggest education initiatives in the world, reports the Hurriyet Daily News.

More than 1.5 million students and teachers have already been supplied with tablet devices.

Dinçer Ateş, deputy secretary of the education ministry said, “As much as the implementation of the project grows it gains more attention around the world.”
